Tea Company Concept
Concept and Logo Development was made brainstorming names and developing sketches for possible directions for the logo to go. Brand position, promise, personality, and story are told through the logo and name. The logo and design gives the persona for the target market for the brand.

Tea Company Logo
I selected one design from my concepts to further develop. The logo changes based on flavors but continues the same layout. My idea was that all tea is made from the same plant but different flavors are always incorporated on the shelves. I used the leaves from that tea plant with each logo to represent this unity within the teas. I then used the different flowers still from the infusions of each specific flavor/flower.
Tea Company Brand Board
I developed a branding board 11″x17” and included a color palate (CMYK, HEX, PMS, and RGB Color Scheme), Fonts and their planned hierarchy, and Visual Style (Photographic, Illustration). The branding concept is a presentation of my final selected logo design and my strategy for packaging. (i.e. how color is going to be used to differentiate the flavors of tea, what the target market is for this brand, color palette and font choice for this brand, style of illustration, graphics on the packaging, philosophy of the brand, etc.

Packaging Design Prototypes
I developed a packaging design for my tea company. The packaging had to have nutritional contents on it based on the standard art required for food packaging. I was to create at least 3 prototypes for the teas in various flavors. There was a standard "dieline" for the tea box design. I created my final design electronically on the dieline art, printed out and assembled the boxes. I was evaluated on the logo design, the package design, typography and food labeling requirements.

Image as Type
Using only text and an image as reference. I was tasked with creating an image using words or phrases that went along with the image I was trying to convey.

My Image is of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, Also known as Mother Teresa.

The saying I chose is a quote from Mother Teresa. "Not all of us can do great things but we can all do small things with great love.

Restaurant Branding Concept
I was tasked to design a themed set of brand collaterals for a fictitious restaurant. I created a color scheme to build continuity throughout the design components from company name, logo, brand identity board, menu, business card, letterhead, and mailing envelope.

Restaurant Brand Board
I was to create a Brand Board on an 11″ x 17″ page to present and communicate the brand strategy for my restaurant. I included a color palate for the branding along with selected fonts that support the brand identity. The color scheme indicates the RGB, and CMYK, HEX, AND PMS values of each color in the brand identity. I have presented my logo and specifications for use, a type specimen of the fonts selected for the company brand, numeric characters including caps and lowercase characters, and a statement about my Target Market.
Restaurant Menu
I designed a one-page, single sided menu for my restaurant. I was to include names of dishes with pricing, and include my restaurant logo somewhere on the menu.
